Rae Wilson, Founder, Winemaker, Sommelier
Rachel ‘Rae’ Wilson has over 20 years in the food/wine industry including 5 years at Schlafly Brewery in her hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri. Later, working in more wine-focused environs, she learned winemaking in Napa Valley, Europe and the Texas Hill Country. She now bases herself in Austin, Texas and continues to consult for local and international business.
She holds an advanced certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. She sits on the tasting panel for the Texas Wine Journal and is regularly featured in industry publications. She currently has two production projects, and is establishing a vineyard in the Texas Hill Country AVA. Through her experience on both sides of the industry, she grew a passion for bridging those gaps and was inspired her to create Wine For the People in 2010 offering a range of industry consulting services.

Sisi Berry, Partner, Operations Manager, Sommelier
Sisi Berry is a wine chemist who began her journey as a biology major. She found herself studying biochemistry after picking up a job in wine production during college. She continued her education in viticulture & enology in Spain, where she worked for several producers doing lab & cellar work in the regions of Penedés, Bierzo, Mallorca, Ribera del Duero, and Priorat. While there, she certified as a sommelier, and upon her return to the U.S, she was accepted to UC Davis. She found Wine For the People in 2014 and quickly made herself indispensable, taking on a wide range of responsibilities. When not taking over the world with her wine talents, she runs a catering & events company, Mi Paella, and plays music with Torino Black.
